K S Ósemka vs Wapping Wildcats |
|
Two defeats on the trot and Ósemka were now desperate to get back to winning ways and winning the first set with arguably not even the first six on court was the perfect start. The second set started well until Ósemka’s captain (Tad) twisted his ankle badly and played no further part in the match. Having a squad of eight for the match, the team had options and managed to hang on to the lead in the second set and take a 2-0 lead. Tad’s injury however, rattled the team and they found themselves struggling, eventually after another marathon 5 setter, losing the match 3-2. Ósemka need to learn from mistakes and ensure they don’t throw away big advantages. The last three matches are must wins for the team to ensure a finish in the top three. |
